With "Jack the Chestnut Scarer" you get a small, practical helper that makes carving chestnuts a safe and concise experience.
In contrast to conventional knives, "Jack's" serrated blade prevents the knife from slipping on the smooth chestnut shell by simply applying measured pressure over the curve of the chestnut. The core remains intact and the shell bursts open at the perforated point as soon as it is heated in the oven, on a hot plate or over an open fire.
