Dolce Gabbana kettle

The painting on the kettle is also inspired by Sicilian craftsmanship. The brightly painted terracotta vases typical of Sicily, the so-called bummuli and quattare, were the source of inspiration here. The images depict various species of birds, including majestic roosters and sailing boats on the horizon on the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Sicily.
