The painting on the small toaster is also inspired by Sicilian craftsmanship. The colorfully painted terracotta vases typical of Sicily, the so-called bummuli and quattare, were the source of inspiration here. The images depict various species of birds, including majestic roosters and sailboats on the horizon on the Mediterranean off the coast of Sicily.
