The workboard, which can be used on both sides, is made from sustainably grown rubber tree endwood. End-grain wood is cut across the trunk, the fibers close quickly and the wood is particularly insensitive. Head gluing ensures even more resilience. You can use the stop edge to attach the beautifully grained board to the edge of your work surface. This means it has a firm stand and is always ready to hand. The clever edge is also helpful if you leave the board standing upright to dry after wiping. The juice groove, which is useful for cutting meat or fruit for fruit salad, is also well thought out.
