"For its price, the Olavson copper core pan should deliver a lot. And it does. I have absolutely no complaints about my test winner: the frying performance, weight, and handling are top-notch. The rim is an ideal height. Because the lid is included, you can even cook dishes with lots of sauce or sear something without it splashing. With proper care and normal household use, pans should last up to four years. Over time, even the best pans will develop scratches in the coating and thus lose their non-stick properties, causing food to stick to the pan. In this case, Olavson pans offer the option of sending the pan in to have the coating replaced. If this works as well as promised, it's a sustainable solution for a really good pan."
